SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation.
In simple terms, it is the practice of optimising websites to rank higher in search results (SERPs) for specific keywords or phrases.
There are three main components of SEO; on-page optimisation, off-page optimisation, and technical optimisation.
On-page optimisation refers to optimising a site’s content to make it more search engine friendly. This includes optimising title tags, meta descriptions, headers, images, and content.
Off-page optimisation refers to all the activities that take place outside of a website‘s inner sanctum, such as link building.
Technical optimisation refers to optimising the technical aspects of a website to improve its performance and user experience. This includes improving website speed, mobile-friendliness, and security.
